The Diabetes Prevention Program is an experiential program facilitated by a coach in a small group setting. Orientation for the program, beginning its ninth class, will be offered at two times for the convenience of our patients: 2 to 3 p. Classes will then continue for six months at those designated times. The meeting will start with a brief overview of diabetes. Family and friends are welcome. Please register below so we can mail your book, and choose a date and time that works for you from the calendar. All Webinars are accessible via smartphone or computer. This class covers what to do in emergencies. This class is not limited to new parents, it also makes a great safety course for Grandparents and other family members who may be caring for your precious new one.
Currently this class is offered via live webinar and takes about 2 hours. We highly recommend you have a doll or stuffed animal to practice on during the class! As soon as we can safely bring back in person classes, this class will be a priority as it is difficult to feel confident without the practice time on the mannequins.
